Title: Where should I buy a new rub rail?
Post by: KKorner on August 17, 2015, 09:34:49 AM
After some storm damage in a marina, I am about to buy a new port side rub rail for my 1976 Compac 16. Should I buy it from Compac? Third party? Marine salvage?

I live within driving distance of Compac to pick it up.

Suggest Hutchins/ComPac because you will get the correct size and cross section for the 16. The 2011 price was $2.78 per foot. Good opportunity to check the hull to deck seam.
