Title: fireplace on board?
Post by: ramble on on August 30, 2006, 09:08:24 AM
I installed a Dickerson solid fuel fireplace on board a former small cruiser with great results. It kept us warm and made for a very cozy cabin.

With the hide-a-way sink and galley, the Dickerson is too tall. Has anyone  one fabricated a usable fireplace or found one that works on a CP23?

Not on a Com-Pac but my dock neighbor, a navel arc type guy has a coal fired heater in his 20 foot Sanderling Marshal Cat boat with a Charlie noble exhaust stack sticking out of the 'dog house' cabin. skip.

I can`t see a place for one on a CP23. To be safe, you would have to build a cabinet around the base. Something would have to go.
