Title: internl halyards
Post by: w5vei on July 26, 2015, 03:18:25 PM
I'M GOING TO RUN MY HALYARDS TO THE COCKPIT.  I WAS ALSO THINKING ABOUT RUNNING THEM INTERNAL DOWN THE MAST &  WONDERED IF ANYONE HAD DONE THIS ON A CP-19.  I'VE DONE THIS ON SEVERAL BOATS & CURIOUS IF ANY ONE HAD TROUBLES ON THE 19.

You would have to get a new masthead as the current one is designed to have them on the outside.

And you would have to install blocks/sheaves inside the base of the mast as well. Not really sure why you would want to go to all that trouble.

Here is how I rigged mine.  works great.

and then I have plain old cam cleats back at the cockpit
