Title: Latest comfort project for my 23
Post by: brackish on July 21, 2015, 12:55:45 PM
On a quest for cruising comfort, I got out the dreaded sewing machine which I really don't know how to use well and muddled through making a fitted sheet with an elastic border for my v-berth.  Despite much cussing during the process, it did come out ok.  I also cut an egg crate foam cushion topper .  The combination turned out to be very comfortable, the foam cushion negates the problem of the multi piece v-berth cushions.

The egg crate mattress is awesome!  It adds a lot to the comfort.

I will work on the fitted sheets this winter as well.  I will also make a custom top sheet that will fit the V-berth good.  There was a good link for this out there on another thread.

Nice work!!!!!
