Title: water level/docks at Carlyle
Post by: wroundey on July 05, 2015, 12:44:50 PM
I am thinking about heading over to Carlyle Monday afternoon and was wondering if anyone has been there this weekend to know what the status of the docks and boat ramps is? CAn I get in at Hazlet or should I plan to use the high water ramp near West Access Marina?

i checked today and the lake hasnt gone down. its the high water ramp for you.  the easiest is the one at west access---it has a dock.  three or four bucks well spent.

I saw over the weekend that one set of docks at west access was not well " accessible". Did not see a dinghy ferry set up either however I didn't look that hard. Has the lake lowered at all?? btw just got a nice shower upstream here so......

Matt, Even though I don't work there anymore, I can tell you the docks are all still accessible yet, from other docks, so no ferry needed.

Anyway, I hope the lake drops about 2 to 3 feet for us, it will be a better experience then. Also, movement on the lake water will be nice as that would cut down the growth of duck weed and such.

West Access boat ramp might be the only accessible ramp in all reality right now.... unless Keyesport has a ramp usable yet, but that is too far up the lake.
