Title: what is length & line diameter of jibsheet ?
Post by: hockeyfool on June 10, 2015, 08:38:43 PM
A bit embarrassed as I don't still yet know my running rigging size -- can someone tell me jibsheet length and diameter ?

The Com-pac site might have the info in their parts list. I remember looking it up somewhere a couple years ago. Also, maybe obvious, but it depends on the jib as to length of line.

I've been using this website for running rigging dimensions...

On a CP-19 ... 5/16 inch Sta-Set x 35 foot factory up-graded to 43 foot. [155% lapper]

That is long enough to reach to the high side of the boat across the cockpit to that side's winch. Works O.K. if your sailing solo and don't have other crew in the way.

skip.
