My new running rigging (everything except my jib sheets, main sheet, and vang) arrived. I put Yale Whip Locks on the bitter end of each piece of rigging.

This is how to do it. Pretty simple!
I agree about keeping in touch with the boat this way. It is so cold here right now that there is no way to work on the boat. This is also why I love doing canvas work during the winter. One winter I took most of the wood off of my old boat (the Hunter 22) and I sanded it down and totally re-finished it indoors.
