Title: strickly sail chicago
Post by: kickingbug1 on November 21, 2014, 11:34:50 AM
just a thought----it might be a good idea for those who are going to chicago to the show to get together here beforehand and maybe arrange a meeting. last time sarah and i went we were able to spend some time and share some laughs and brews with friends from the clr.  it was so god awful cold that week but our good friends made the trip warm and sunny (with a 10 knot breeze).

Hmm...you got my attention. It would take a re-meeting of the CLR crew to get me to Chicago in the coldest month of the year. I'll keep an eye on this.

Sharing some brews sounds good, but I think we should practice in advance if anyone would like to meet up with me at the St Petersburg show the first of December.  http://www.showmanagement.com/st_petersburg/event/ (http://www.showmanagement.com/st_petersburg/event/)
Lets do both shows!

Anyone attending Strictly Sail Chicago on Friday the 16th?  My wife Linda and I will be there that day and possibly that Sat. morning?  Let me know as we would love to meet up with some fellow Compac sailors
