This boat has turned up at my marina in Washington NC. Don't know who the owner is but she's listed for sale through a brokerage at $19,500. 1986 model, looks well maintained.

Well maintained, but that dodger is obscene.
wow - Nate, before i scrolled down to your well phased comment.. i had the same reaction! maybe the skipper was really tall.. jt
As a tall person I can see the practicality of a tall dodger......not pretty, but practical from a headroom perspective. It appears that the bimini or cockpit cover might integrate with the dodger to completely cover the cockpit.
I have looked at this boat. It has both AC and Heat. I assumed that there was enough of each to heat/cool the cockpit too, hence the large enclosed dodger.

Hello:
Wondering if under sail with the topping lift slacked out could you actually sail with the dodger and Bimini up. I actually shortend my Bimini a small amount because of that. Couldn't shorten it to much I was afraid of screwing up the fit on the side and back panels.

Looks like the Pope-mobile. Does the Pope sail a ComPac? Could he?

The big Enclosure is quite handy during the cool or cold season in NC. Sailed it from Jorden Creek to Washingten with the enclosure in place. With the heat running the back porch as I call it actually gets warm. During full sun I roll up the glass and it has all screens. I store the canvas below the V-Berth cushions. Hans
The Pope might start some rumors sailing a boat named "Nymph 2". If the pope sailed a Compac, it would probably be a 23. Just the humble opinion of a loyal 23 owner.

remember bob, back in the day it was said that men of the cloth took an oath of poverty.
i highly doubt the pope would be seen in anything as flamboyant as a 23.
if memory serves me right, and it seldom does, the pope-mobile was small.
something like a vw rabbit with a clear tupperware bowl on top.
it may have looked larger because he sat on the back of the seats to raise himself up so all good see.
it also gave him a better view when looking for parking spots.
anyways, it was smaller, like a 19. perhaps a 19/II.

sister angelica is turning over in her grave. she knew i would turn out bad.
But did she know how bad! hahaha. Maybe the pope would like a 16...or a Suncat. I like the car of choice when the current pope toured South Korea: the Kia Soul. Gotta love a pope with a sense of humor!

With a Total enclosure you would have to practically enter on your belly if you did not have a matching tall dodger, Hans
It extends staying on the boat with your family and have a pleasand weekend regardless of the weather.Hans
