Title: Compac 19/23 with MANY modifications
Post by: atrometer on September 05, 2014, 12:52:54 PM
A number of years ago, maybe 10, I was following ComPacs and saw a 19 or 23 with LOTS of modifications, I mean LOTS!  All were very well done and imaginative.  Can't find anything about it now???????

Augie: (haha)
There was a 23 which was outfitted for some serious cruising which the couple who owned it did. I believe they sailed it from Canada down to Mexico. Think it had a diesel, a completely redone interior and many more modifications. I remember reading about it here but quite a while back, hackers got into this wonderful forum and we were off line for a while. If I remember right, when it came back on, much info was lost but I'll leave it to those who know more to fill in the blanks.
I think there was an article about this boat in Good Old Boat magazine but, there again, I could be wrong. It was indeed a cool boat and they crammed a lot of stuff into an already wonder pocket cruiser.
