Title: FUEL ADDITIVES
Post by: sjaffess on June 04, 2014, 04:41:16 PM
I have a 4 stroke Yamaha and sorry to say there are no gas stations in Mass. that sell non-ethanol gas. Is there something besides Stabil that someone can recommend to add to the Ethanol gas.  I always let the gas in the internal gas tank run out, but that doesn't always help.

I use Seafoam, very happy with the results. I am able to purchase real gas at a local farm supply. Try this site

Move to NC; the Mallard stations from Kinston to New Bern have non-E!  I use Sea Foam in my non-E gas, too.

Guess we're lucky down here in SW Florida. Most of our local Marathon Stations sell "Rec 90", which is non-ethanol 90 octane fuel. Can't go very far without finding one.

I add Stabil to EVERY OUNCE OF FUEL that goes through the carb on my YAMAHA 4 HP 4-stroke.

In addition, I periodically add some Sea Foam to the tank as well. (Also add it to my motorcycle and aux home generator tanks.)

NO PROBLEMS - NO WORRIES MATE!
