Does anyone have detailed sail rigging pictures. I checked the online brochure, but it doesn't really show. I have to leave instructions for a friend who will be using my boat and he has never rigged a Suncat

With all due respect I really don't understand why the friend needs detailed instructions or diagrams - especially IF the main'sl is already bent on with halyards attached, and he has a basic understanding of sailboat rigging, to include the fact that our gaff headed catboats have two (2) halyards.
Just remove the long pin, lift up the mast, insert the safety pin through the forward part of the hinge, and attach the quick-release forestay.
IT DOESN'T GET ANY SIMPLER THAN THAT.
If he spends a few minutes "dry" sailing on land, BEFORE putting the boat in the water, he should be good to go.

The sail was taken off to repair a rip and It has not been put back on. I thought it would be a little easier if he could see a picture of the rigging since I won't be there.
oh god, putting that sail back on is a PITA; or at least it was when I did it. He will likely give up sailing altogether if you leave it to him to do.
Agreed! Bending the Suncat sail on requires the Mastender hinge bolt to be removed. Not rocket science but a PITA, especially for one person.
Figured it out. It's much easier if you put the sail on the boom first and the gaff last.
