After many years of sailing with Air-Flow tell tails on both my head sail and main sail I would encourage all sailors to give these a try.
Watching these tell tails indicate just how well the sails are pulling.
Kind of curious if these are popular with the Com Pac sailors here.

Yes, love them. They constantly remind me what I could improve on.
The choices for location don't reflect my situation.
For the head sail, the tell tails are about 1 ft. aft of the luff on both starboard and port; four sets.
On the main there are four, evenly spaced, attached at the leech .
Limiting response to only ONE choice does not reflect the several uses of tell tales.
I checked "On both sails" as the best response for me.
I could also have checked "Spaced between tack and head" for my jibs.
And, BOTH "Spaced between tack and head" and "Spaced between clew and head" for my main'sl.
I love my tell tales and use their indications to help me visualize the flow of air across (and off) my sails to get the best possible performance from my sailboat.

Have always used them sailing almost 50 years. Only on the Jib spaced between the tack and the head. Try to keep both streaming with the inside telltale just on the edge of unstable. Never have used them with the main, I just set the main so that it is just on the trimmed side of a slight backwind below the head and adjust as necessary.
" Limiting response to only ONE choice does not reflect the several uses of tell tales. "
I feel your pain, tried to set this up multiple times but the darn what-do-you-call-it only allows for ONE check mark.
This electronic quiz stuff is way beyond me.
