Title: Source for CP23 Bimini?
Post by: tooboat on May 20, 2006, 03:23:50 PM
Having recently signed on I am very confused. All I wanted to do was ask if someone might have suggested sources for CP23 Bimini????

Dear Tooboat,

Welcome to the CPYOA website. No need to be confused . . . you just need to post your message to the most appropriate forum. I moved your Source for a CP23 Bimini question to the CP23 Forum.

You might also ask this question in the Gear, Yards, Equipment Forum too.

I am sure you will get an answer.

Hi Tooboat, You might try Hutchins Com-Pac Yachts at 727-443-4408 for a bimini.

I have shopped a lot of marine catalogs and have found Defender to consistently have the best price. (they beat West Marine on a Snap-Furl unit by almost $200.00)

They can be reached at Defender.com  or 800 628 8225. Ask them to mail you a catalog.

Ron, I can't help you with a Bimini.  Sorry!

Do you have any water in Lake Keowee?  I'm up at Norman.  We're almost full.  Welcome to the forum.  I'm new to the forum - like you - but I've had my boat for 15 years!

My CP23 came with a westland 3-bow bimini, it is nice although I may need to add a longer track to slide it forward more.

West Marine sells a relatively cheap prefab one that would probably work perfectly. I installed it on my O'day 25 with excellent results.  Not stainless. But it keeps the sun off.
