I have decided it is time for me to sell my CP-16, as my son is having heart surgery this spring, (assumng all goes well ) he and is twin brother will be off to college in the fall.
The boat is currently in winter storeage at Moraine State Park until April 15th just north of Pittsburgh pictured below in her slip this past season:

I am asking $1500 for the boat and trailer and 45 lbs thrust trolling motor and a deep cell 12 volt battery.
I do hold the titles for both the boat and trailer.
There are other assorted items like boat custions, bunk cushions that will be included as well.
If you are interested you can message me here on the board or at traidna at yahoo dot com
Thanks
Tom aka Spartan
Too cheap. Triple the price.
Under priced...
I agree we Gerry, you need to check more on your pricing, It seems to be more like a gift to someone than a sale.
My opinion...
hey Tom , sorry to hear that you are giving up your compac, but more concerned about impending surgery for your son.. I hope that all goes as well as expected. I had hoped to sail with you at Moraine one of these days.. just have not traveled in the direction of pittsburgh for a while! best wishes to you and your family, take care, jt
JT,
Thanks for your kind note, my son (18) was born with aortic valve stenosis and had a balloon angioplasty done when he was nine months old.
He has been fully active until now and the issue with an enlarged aorta, which needs to be replaced. So they will replace the valve as well.
Assuming all goes well he will start college at Slippery Rock (very near Moraine) in the fall, and "may" still be able to play hockey (sadly he had planned on playing goalie at West Virginia U.) He was just named the Bager Bob Johnson award winner for character at his High School hockey banquet last night - he will graduate on June 5 and surgery on June 12.
Concerning the price, I respectfully appreciate the concerns that I am priced to low, but frankly with the current situation I'd rather not have to pay for storing until it sells, and if someone gets a "gift" I hope it's someone who might otherwise might not have been able to afford to have the joy of sailing like the rest of use. Unless someone is anxious to make me an offer for more ;) - just trying to keep it light with all that is going on.
JT - perhaps I can now come visit you for some sailing :)
regards
Tom
now there is a "good guy" for you
