Title: LED? Safe for the pocket book.
Post by: MacGyver on March 31, 2014, 09:23:04 AM
Im just gonna leave this link here, for those that like to save money and do things right.

www.marinebeam.com (http://www.marinebeam.com)

And because I am a nice guy, I will leave a more direct link to the Aqua signal 25 series that Hutchins (and a ton of other builders) use so you can order what youd like.

Just pick between dimple or cone, and then see what you will need for the color application.

I have not looked yet for the mid mast light on a 19 as of yet, my boat is in storage yet.
A boater at the marina told me about this, and also said the guys that run it are GREAT to talk to, and really helpful.

Picked it up at the local marina store in Sturgeon Bay about 5 years ago?
Bow, stern, masthead, and Davis anchor light was already an LED.
Also check those R/V supply houses ... same stuff.
Fixture; R/V garage sale. Red LED lamp from AutoZone. [tail lights].
Just solder it in to fixture and wire.
And this lamp by the compression post for general cabin light.
skip.
