I have been looking and thinking,  It probably cost about $3000 to have it shipped.  If I drove back to Illinois would take about a week there and back cost about $1000 to $1500 in gas and lodging etc.  I am too old? Well maybe not but my wife is handicapped and I don't think she would let me go.  I would spend 1000 to 1500 but not 3000, to get it here, if you know of cheaper shipping let me know.  Sure do like you description of your boat and the reputation that Com Pac Yachts have. I am also looking at Montgomery 15s.
I live on a private lake here in Stockton California and the largest boats they allow on the lake is 16 foot.  I want keep the boat at my dock and be able to trailer to the San Joaquin / Sacramento Delta is about 5 minutes away.

I am sure you cp16 will find a loving home somewhere close.

Thank you for your indulgence, blessings, 'J'ene

I am selling my 1978 here in San Diego. Here is the Craig's list ad. https://sandiego.craigslist.org/ssd/boa/4375654384.html

She is in great shape, hasn't been in the water for 11 years and has been stored inside that entire time.

Hope this works out, would lobe to get her to someone who will use her. Give me a call at 6198707072 if you have any questions.

Take care,
