Title: Nice anchorage on Caloosahatchee river
Post by: skyshadd on February 23, 2014, 09:19:08 AM

On a recent overnight sail, I spent the night in Glover bight, a really nice anchorage. Very protected, deep water, with Tarpon Point marina, and the Westin Resort Cape Coral combining to make a very pleasurable place to overnight....or longer.
If your cruising in the SW Florida area, or transiting the Okeechobee Waterway, check it out.

"Bimini Basin" IN Cape Coral is good too - by a park, walk to grocery, nearby ice cream stand.
