I know you guys up in the northern areas deal with this stuff each and every winter but this has been such a weird winter for us here on the southern coast of North Carolina. We may see an occasional snowflake here or there but THIS? I live in the middle of the state but come down to the big boat 3 or so days a week to work here. I woke up this morning to about a 1/2" of ice layered with about 2 or more inches of snow. Getting on and off the boat was a tad on the tricky side to say the least. I will be heading south to work the Miami Boat Show so hopefully I will enjoy a week of warm weather. Thought you guys would enjoy the pics. Good thing my C16 is in the garage.

Ok, I have spent an hour trying to figure out why the photos are not appearing even though I have been following the procedure. I must be doing something wrong obviously. So if you would like to see the pics, here is a link to my photobucket library.

So, I finished shoveling the steps and the walkway to the driveway, around the cars, swept snow off the windshields. Now, if something was open that we need to go to, we could.
Heck, it might get above freezing tomorrow afternoon here in Raleigh.
I wonder how my boat looks in the slip?
tigersailor, going to head out and see if I can scrape the ice off the windshield and go check on a friends boat. Should be interesting to say the least. Yes I agree that was probably the problem with uploading the pics. LOL
When you hit the image box you need to look at what is there and make sure the curser is in between the two bracketed IMG's, then when you do a "direct" copy from photobucket do an edit paste to the spot without moving the curser. What you originally saw should still be intact on the front and back of your image from photobucket. if not, it ain't going to work. From your photobucket library although I didn't see any snow and ice stuff.

I went to my pic in photobucket, right clicked on pic which gives me the option to "copy link" I go back to my post and click on image box then place my cursor in-between the bracketed img and right click on paste. Notice in my original post the link address is between the bracketed img. Then I hit preview and no pics. Not sure what I did wrong.
Salty19, I expected that reaction. lol
I was actually kidding...we do realize that salt and plow trucks aren't too common in the south.
Makes a huge difference in safety on the roads.

Bring the picture up in photobucket, then look to the right at the "Links to share this photo" Click on the one that says "direct" . It will turn yellow and say "copied". Then on the cpyoa post page hit the icon that says "image" (2nd from the left above the emoticons, and it will show up in your post, then paste in between the two bracketed IMG's. Is this one of them done right?
