Title: 1992 Com-Pac 23 in MN
Post by: NateD on December 15, 2013, 12:38:25 PM
I hate to do it, but I've put my 23 up for sale. I had planned on keeping the 23 for decades (invested in a new genoa, some new canvas covers, added a $250 automatic bilge pump last year). I've got a 1 year old now, and neither she or my wife have much interest in sailing, so I'm stepping back down to a 16. I would be happy to answer any questions.

that is sad, indeed,  but  life demands different things from us at different stages..   it sounds like you have your priorities straight for the stage that you happen to be in at the moment..   good to know that you will not be totally "boatless"  !   jt

Nate,

Agree with jt, enjoy your 16!

And hope your C-23 finds a new owner soon.

Thanks for the comments. It is sad to sell because of all the work I've put into the 23, but you need the right boat for the right job and the 23 isn't right for us anymore. I thought about just putting her away in a pole barn somewhere for a few years until (hopefully) the family is ready to sail again, but there are few things sadder than a wonderful boat not getting used.
