Title: Portuguese Dinghy
Post by: bob lamb on August 24, 2013, 04:53:18 PM
Has anyone built one of these sharp little dinghys?  They look to be ideal for my 23 and the plans are free!

Mike Greene built one. Did quite a write up on it. I think he named her "Squint"

Unfortunately she is not s fast as "Little Fellow" though.  ;)

Portuguese Dinghy - know it well.

Haven't built one, but am struck by the size, simplicity, and practicality of the design. So much so, that I've had the site in my "Favorites" for quite some time now. If I decide that a small hard dinghy is required, the "Portuguese Dinghy" will be at the top of my short list.

This is so cute! Much more shapely than the usual tiny tender.  I expect I'll just wade ashore from the CP-16, but I am fascinated by folding dinghies.  This one's kind of neat, and free plans as well.

Hmm, well, that didn't work.  I guess I don't understand how to insert a hyperlink, sorry...
