Found this while wasting some time. Ahhhh... I mean doing serious adult stuff kind of research, yeah that's what I meant to say.

MarineTraffic.com shows vessel traffic using AIS data. Doesn't cover all areas, the FAQ explains that. Interesting though.

Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed clicking on the pleasure craft icons in and around Charleston Harbor and being treated to some beautiful sailing yachts.
