Does anyone know what the factory round sink drain size is for a 1992? 1.5" or 2", or something else?
Are you asking about the actual hole in the stainless steel bowl or the tail piece that attaches to it? I replaced my tailpiece a couple of years ago, it was a hose bib connector that had snapped off. Took a while to find a replacement, but finally did. I don't remember what the hole size was but will check the next time I'm at the boat.
If it is the same size as the 19 my galley is in my garage under some boxes. I can get it for you tomorrow.
I'm talking about the actual hole in the sink, I know the barb and hose are 3/4". I emailed Hutchins yesterday, Gerry thought it was a 2" drain.
I think mine is 2 or possibly 1-7/8" based on this old post. The strainer basket locking nut is 1-3/4 ID so the hole has to be a little bigger to let the basket through. But I'll check next time. BTW if you are looking for the tailpiece hose bib, I have a source.

I'm thinking about adding some type of 90 degree elbow to the system to keep the drain hose from kinking. Either replacing the entire drain assembly with one of these: http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1|51|2234213&id=2117198 (http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1%7C51%7C2234213&id=2117198), or cutting the hose just below the hose barb and adding in a 90 elbow there. Then I am thinking about some type of line with a spring on it to keep the hose suspended under the cockpit area to make sure the line drains out and to make the storage space more usable without the hose hanging up on stuff stored there.

I like the concept, and did look into it when I was repairing mine. Can't remember why I didn't go in that direction. It would be better, drain faster, and not have as much strain on the tailpiece. The one inch barb would require some reduction plumbing to match my seacock/outlet and possibly I couldn't find what I needed to do that without adding to the outlet side which would raise the level and cause it to be higher than the sink drain.
