Title: SS Motor mount and Tohatsu engine
Post by: MacGyver on June 08, 2013, 03:46:05 PM
Looking for someone with the SS motor mount and the Tohatsu Sail pro. 6 HP.

The setup I have looks to possible have some issues......not sure. Anyone with this setup please respond here, as my problem (if your willing) might be more of a phone call thing........

Need comparisons first.

Thanks, Mac

Is an SS motor mount a brand name? model? or what? I have what I think is a West Marine outboard motor bracket (Model # 11887981). I had to shim the bracket out from the transom 1.5" in order to be able  to get the handle all the way up. Otherwise it would hit the rub rail and I could only get to outboard up to the 3rd bracket position.
