Title: Help-Oil for Nissan
Post by: BILL CHEYENNE WY on May 31, 2013, 09:36:24 PM
Purchased a 5HP 2002 Nissan 4-stroke OB, and did not receive a manual.  Does anyone out there know about this?  Also I do not see a drain.  I assume I can drain out of the filler hole by putting motor on its side.  Is this the usual way the crank case is drained?  Thanks  Bill

On my 2009 Nissan the oil drain screw is about four inches behind the throttle handle. Mine is four stroke and the manual says it applies to the 4/5/6HP.
