Title: Wind

There was a movie made in the '80's about the America's Cup called Wind. You can by the video at Amazon.com. I watch it during the winter as it has lots of excellent sailing scenes. It was a class B movie but my wife and I originally saw it in the movies. The cast features Cliff Robertson and several other stars. Recently we bought a 32 inch Sony HD flatscreen TV and I hooked it into my stero for surround sound. This video is awesome on a large screen with surround sound!

All dedicated sailors should own a copy. IT IS MOTIVATING!!!

Roger that!!

Wind is a GREAT movie on a big screen w/ surround sound!

Have it on Video... will replace it with DVD when our copy wears out. we watch it at LEAST 4 or 5 times a year... very cool.

Just got Master and Commander too.. another very well done DVD. Surely they're going to make more!

(although I still like the Patrick O'Brien books ...they don't work nearly so well through the 5.1 dolby..   )
