i have my 19 (1982) in a slip for the season, and always taking "older " friends out for a sail, where can i get a pelican hook that screws on the end of my existing lifeline so its easier to get in and out ?
A West Marine store. Or some similar ship's chandlery. Often found at marinas, or boat harbor stores.
skip.

Thanks, but what thread size is needed to screw on exiting line , there are a lot of sizes?
Mine are 1/4x28,you also should have right and left hand threads(made that mistake more than once)good luck...Doug

[/quot THANKS
DOUG, TOLD ME HIS ARE 1/4X28, BUT YOU HAVE TO KNOW IF ITS RIGH OR LEFT HAND THREADED, DOES THAT MEAN IF IT GOES ON COUNTERCLOCKWISE IT Is left threaded and clockwise is riht threaded ?
That's it. Right hand goes on clockwise.
I did mine without replacing the threaded part, the Pelican hooks have loops on the end instead of a threaded female.
