Title: Far distant places
Post by: Lafayette Bruce on April 08, 2013, 08:43:49 PM
Last week I was in the Bahamas and we were waiting for the ferry on Man-O-War Cay and lo and behold guess what came motoring by.

Yup a CP23.
I almost missed the shot to document the fact but in being late with the picture I also got the Man-O-War Marina sign in as well.  Anyone in this group know who this may be and if she was sailed over or shipped over to the Bahamas?

In 2009 saw a CP23 in Negril, Jamaica mon.
Saw the boat, thought..nice looking boat.  Er, wait.  That's a Compac! A Compac 23!

It had just launched into Bloody Bay after repairs and the next day I saw it moored at Margaritaville.  I still don't know how they launched it without us seeing it as 'twas just a few hundred away from the beach we were hanging out on.  Must be the rum, mon.

Must be nice to have a sailboat around Jamaica or the Bahamas, mon!
