Title: Lonseal Flooring
Post by: MacGyver on February 14, 2013, 12:08:40 AM
Has anyone done Lonseal vinyl flooring in their boat?

I am pondering changing that blue carpet and on Defender this looks to be a viable option......

Here is a link to one of many of what I am talking about.

Thanks, Mac

mac,

i like this flooring.  i see it comes by the foot in 72" widths.  If you go with it, i would like to go in with you and we can split the cost.

That would be cool on the floor of a 19 and only take a few feet!

Carl,

I am glad you posted that, because today I was investigating more and found the direction of it to be equal to having enough to do the floor 2 times due to the width and was trying to figure out what to do with the rest if I did it.

I will let you know, getting my taxes done Sunday.

Side note: I am thinking about doing this maybe on a 1/2 inch marine plywood floor, then install or maybe just Epoxy it to the floor.
Several things I have read on the net today said they just did that due to the cost of the flooring glue being so high.
What is your thoughts on this?

They void the warranty if you dont use their glue......
