Can anyone tell me the measured distance between the top of the mast and the top of the forstay on the CP-16. Mine is in winter storage.

Hello MaritimeElevation:

We have a C-16 III, the forestay placement is not the same for all C-16's.

It is 23 inches from the tippy top of the mast to the through bolt that holds the rigging for the forestay and side stays to the mast. The forestay is attached to that rigging 7.5 inches from that through bolt.

Hope that this helps. Just happen to have our mast in the garage.

My 1978 Com Pac 16 is 48 inchs from top of mast to forestay.....................nies
