Hi everybody. I haven't been very active here lately. Hope all is well!
The time has come that we are looking to sell our Com-Pac 23. It's a great boat and you can search my posts here, she's been very good to me and my family.
A few specs:
1991 Com-Pac 23
Original Tohatsu 9.9 2-stroke with cockpit control
Performance trailer
Main sail and 110 headsail on furler
GPS chartplotter w/depth
Pressure water in cabin with cockpit/transom shower
All safety equip, life jackets, ground tackle, etc. included
Lots and lots of spare parts, fasteners, lines. All the bits collected over the years.
The boat has been sitting on the trailer for over 2-years now. We've had many great trips with her...but just don't seem to have the time any longer.

I live in the Daytona Beach area and the boat is currently on the trailer with the mast up at Sanford Boatworks. Sanford Boatworks is located on Lake Monroe in Central FL, and last I've heard, they do have slip space available.

We towed our boat back from the Keys a couple years ago, parked it in the boatyard, and I didn't know it at the time, but we were done with it. It's strange, and it hurts to admit that she's "for sale" (today is the first day), but it's just not fair to leave her sit.
I'm definitely not done sailing...but for now, with the kids in their teens and things busy at work, I'm running the rat race. Probably need a bigger boat next time anyway :)

I noticed there are no pictures of the trailer. is she galvanized?
Could you please elaborate about the "cockpit control" for the engine?
And is the 2 stroke a mix or injected?
I am interested, but would need to find a home for my 19 1st. I am just around the corner in Tampa.
The trailer is the standard Performance trailer the boats were delivered with back then. It's a galvanized, tandem axle trailer with tongue extension. It's in very good condition considering its age.
The motor runs on gas/oil mix and the cockpit control is a throttle quadrant in the cockpit...forward, reverse, fast, slow, start and choke. Kinda like this:

Unfortunate update...
The boat is not for sale, at least for now. It's been several months since I last was to the boat, turns out water is getting in from somewhere, and somehow the tongue jack was lowered bow low, allowing water to stand on the floor at the v-berth bulkhead. I'm still trying to figure out what to do and the future of the boat is uncertain at the moment.
If anything changes regarding its availability, I'll post back here.

A guy at our marina had good luck by pulling his out of the boat entirely then refinishing the wood. For the most part it came out fairly well.
He had some side panel delamination and was able to repair that with epoxy, then refinish the wood....
Big issue I saw with doing that was it changed how the wood looked inside..... he had to Polyurethane it so it all had a gloss look.
I liked the look, but some dont......

Well, would you consider selling as-is? What is your thought on the price the way she sits?
