Title: Miss Leah snug in the slip shed
Post by: shamblin on December 24, 2012, 06:13:04 PM
Today the pines were dripping and the air was cold with a fine mist of rain.
Down the metal grate bridge, one wants to be but under the slip shed roof it's not bad.
All the others are powerboats  but the catboat folds her mast and fits right in.

The door boards have swelled a little so the roof it hard to close.
Checking, the top board goes down well, and the bottom board has side movement.
So planing off the bottom of the bottom board a little should fix it.  And it does.

Next week Miss Leah will get out on the lake and glide behind her big sail.
In the meantime she is a cozy place to have supper -  a bowl of seafood stew.
Spend the night, and wake up early -  coffee and scrambled eggs. 8-)

Sounds like a brief trip to HEAVEN!

Got room in there for a Sun Cat called "Frisky"? Or perhaps a spot nearby?

Glad to have you.

That is a fine looking boat you have.  8-)
