Another year into my last productive decade - feeling real old these days, but enjoying each one.

Just joined the forum this week. Was fun to read the Christmas greeting.
Enjoyed the photo. Nice location, location, location!
My wife and I got together with her parents last summer and purchased a com-pac 16 from a neighbor here in central PA. Had several nice sails before the season was over at the end of October.

All the best in the New Year to you and your family.

My free hand etching with a soft lead pencil on rough card stock back in my college days and while working for Funk Seed International in Bloomington, Illinois. Made a lithograph plate on a 3-M plate making machine and ran off a few hundred pressings on the off set machine in Funk's Communication's Department where I worked. That was a fun morning project before class.

Jill, I see the number 796 on the main sail in the avatar.
What is the hull number, 796?

Inquiring minds need to know.

Very nice!

Skip! I did not see your inquiry until this morning.  I was showing one of my son's your drawing.  (Which I like very much by the way.)

796 is Puff's hull number. ( My 1978 CP 16 )   :)

Have a great day!    Jill

talk about feeling old, that chistmas card with the hunter and the dog makes me think back to my grandpa. i would follow him wherever he went. the happiest kid you ever saw. thanks for the memory and a merry christmas to you and your family and to all com-pac sailors.  i think the rendezvous need a couple from penn. to round out the group.

Merry Christmas!

I have already crowed about this on the forum, but... for Christmas this year, my wife and I purchased a CP 19/3, after selling a CP 16 that we had for the past three years.

This picture was taken yesterday - the first time I have ever used a spinnaker!

I have been out on the water five days in a row - gotta love it!!

Merry Christmas to all from Iowa where the water is really hard this time of year.

God didn't promise us a easy voyage but a snug harbor at the end of our journey.
