Iwould like to see pictures of anchor mounting on front of compac 16 trying to think of ideas see ya

If you have a bow sprit, the picture shows a good arrangement. If you sail alone, you may want a second anchor/chain and line stowed in the cockpit.

Without a sprit, a danforth type anchor can hang from the pulpit.

If you sail alone I would run the rode to an aft cleat and store the bitter end in the cockpit. This will allow you to deploy the anchor without leaving the helm. I would also store an extra anchor and rode under the aft hatch, just in-case . . ..
