Hi all,
I thought some of you might like to read about this up coming event.
There are a few Com Pac signed up for this event including me.
I think as of today, there are over 130 boats registered for this event from many different states.

I've read about this and would love to go. Even if just to see the London Bridge. Have a great time!

I'm really looking forward to this as I have tried for the past two years to attend but something allways came up.

Bob,
Your always welcome to join in !

That really looks like a fun event with a huge following. The videos posted tell it all. The thought of dragging HideAway across country and back is just too daunting. Have fun Matt
Greetings fro Iowa,
My wife Chris and I are going to be attending and part of our Winter vacation. We will be there without our boat, but would love to connect with other Com-Pac owners. We have alredy connected with Glenn and look forward to meeting. Right now there are 9 Comp-Pacs registered, 6 -16s 1-19 1 Suncat and Glenn's Eclipse.
I would be great for us all to get together. Meet for coffee or a drink.

I'm up for a Com Pac Meeting!
May be our own sail day (or a few hours ) together any way.
Dinner some place ?
Glenn B.
there is an alternative trip----clr 2013 in july---numerous (well unlimited -) spots available
I had hoped to have Luna (CP23D) ready to go to the Lake Havasu event but will not be able to do so. I may be able to come over without the boat for a day or two to meet some of the trailer sailors and other Compac owners. I am new to this and looking forward to learning! If I do come, it will be a last minute trip .... how do we hook up?

Hi all,
The wife and I arrived at Lake Havasu late Saturday afternoon about 4 pm after a 6 hour drive.
Saturday rigged and launched the boat, got the boat slip and then registered for the event. Some 200 boats are register so far.
Lots of pretty boats here of all sizes and shapes.
Sailed about 2 hours this afternoon, mostly sunny conditions but when the clouds blocked the sun the tempatures sure dropped fast. Temps at about 65 in the sun,
Which you all could experience this event and the Arizona beauty.

Glenn, Chris and I will be arriving Monday night not sure what time yet. Will give you a call

Hi Gary,
Looking forward to meeting you and Chris.
Very Cold this morning and no sun, completely socked in with clouds. Might get out late this afternoon for a sail.
Glenn
Hi all,
Had a great time at the Lake Havasu event in Arizona .
We arrived late Saturday (9th) and checked into our hotel after a long 6 hour drive.
We had a great week here with the weather getting better as the week went on.
We are heading home Sunday morning and I wil write more when I get back home.
Did meet some other Com PAC owners and saw some pretty nice boats.

Glenn, it was great to meet you, Dawn and Roger. Your welcoming hospitality was really amazing. Had a wonderful time sailing with you. A very nice boat and good winds, almost all of the time we were on the water.
I thought the event was terrific. The seminars were informative and entertaining. Everyone there was more then friendly. It was just great. Hope we can attend again next year!
Hi Gary,
We enjoyed your company too.
It's Sunday afternoon about 4 pm , we got home an hour ago. The boat and truck are put away and Dawn went to the store for a few croceries, got to get back to eating healthier after all the good foods we ate while eating out every night.
I plan on doing it again next year if all goes well.
Stay in touch
Glenn
I'm hoping one of you guys does a thorough report on this major event. I've been wanting to attend since I heard about it but, as an East Coaster, it's a bit too far to tow my 23.
Glad you guys had a great time! Did you sail under the London Bridge?
Bob23
Yes Bob,
We did sail under the London Bridge.
I will start putting something together on this event.. My hardest part will being will be adding the pictures.
