Title: HMS Bounty lost at sea. Casaulty of Sandy
Post by: crazycarl on October 29, 2012, 08:51:31 PM

The HMS Bounty replica built for the 1962 release of "Mutiny on the Bounty"  was a casualty of hurricane Sandy.

I was on this beautiful ship in '68 while on vacation with my parents in Florida, and then this past February when it docked in Puerto Rico for winter maintenance.

The crew at that time were young women and men in their 20s.  Let us pray to our gods that all are recovered safely.

I have a post on my FaceBook that says it is not a total loss, it still floats, but that there is a possibility of 2 crew lost......

I will see what else happens on that post, It did start out with it being completely sunk, no loss of crew, then evolved into that about still floats and 2 crew lost.

I will post any thing else I see happen with it.

Thanks Carl!
