Title: Mystery Fittings
Post by: reedtg3 on August 07, 2012, 03:11:39 PM
Anyone know what those stainless steel parallel bars located on the back side of the mast below the boom are for?  Must be there for a reason.

They are sail guides. They allow your boom to be lowered down and raised for folding without the sail slugs getting hung up when you raise and lower the boom.
