Title: EZ Cockpit table
Post by: Salty19 on July 31, 2012, 12:19:13 AM
I'll bet most of you have some plywood, glue and paint laying around. Me too. Here is a no frills table that fits the cockpit, and as lady luck has it,the cabin footwell too. Was going to make something fancier but this will do fine.

Plywood ribs to strengthen, making standing on it possible, and edges sanded to fit the curve for stability.

In action at night.  Blue line is a tether..winds were blowing hard that night!

Works great single handed. I did step on it a time or two with no flex or movement.. Would be in the way with crew.

Very nice. Simple and cheap is the way to go. I was thinking of building something similair for my 23 so you've given my the motivation. BTW, what kind of beer is hiding in that holder?

It's a Natty Ice..the tall can. A good reason for deep can holders!

That looks great!  I'll be making one of those.
