Yes, Lake Augusta in Sunbury PA.  I did the flowers.  The new Mrs. loved it :-)

This is without doubt the coolest wedding EVER. Brilliantly done - congratulations, and TONS of good karma to you both! An auspicious way to begin a new life together.

The BBB is definitely on my to do list but unfortunately it can't happen this year.  I am however looking forward to the upcoming photos and Bob23's colorful post-BBB commentary/summary though.

Did you honeymoon on the Com-pac 16?
That might be also be a first.

romei,

Congrats on the wedding, my best wishes!

After looking at your photos of your CP-16, it's not stock is it? Was it converted to a gaff rigged catboat by you or someone else? Did the Hutchens' brothers produce cat rigged 16's from the factory? Just curious..? I've never seen a CP-16 cat rig before... But I like it! Makes sense.. Move the mast forward, change the center of effort, reduce weather helm and add useable interior space.. Question? how different is derigging for trailering?

I'd love to see interior pics of the forward compression post and cabin..I'll bet it adds lots of usable space for solo cruising..

I also noticed the wooden boom, foresail halyard and lack of side stays, normally I don't deviate from the designers spec, but in this case I do.. How does it work for you?

Nice attention to detail!  I did it myself from the design, to whittling the mast with a draw knife to everything else.  It works great and I love it.  The compression post is still in there.  The interior is still stock for now.  Here are some of my blog posts that address your curiosity.

Because of life events, the changing of jobs etc...  the honeymoon will have to be postponed.   But i can assure you with a fair amount of certainty that the honeymoon will not be on that little beautiful boat.  We'll need just a little more room than that :-D
