Anyone found a way to pretty up their screens? We have metal screens that are in good condition although faded from the sun. What material are they made from? Cleaners?

Metal? Maybe coated steel, I don't know...any light acid/detergent.
Dish washing soap and a nylon scrub brush?
For that super clean job dip and soak for a few minutes in a Tupperware container with muriatic acid...should shine it right up.

Well we tried good old soapy water and a bristle brush without seeing any improvement. Pulled out the muriatic acid, soaked them for a couple of minutes and gently scrubbed them with a plastic bristle brush. The yuck came off very easily and after a good rinsing with fresh water they look pretty good again. Note: Wear rubber gloves and eye protection in a well ventilated spot. The bottom one in the picture is what they looked like before cleaning.
