Title: bbq grill for Sun Cat
Post by: ChumleysRest on March 29, 2012, 05:53:35 PM
Has anyone used a propane grill on their Sun Cat.  I was thinking about attaching a Magma 15" propane kettle grill to the boom gallows on the side opposite the outboard engine, so that the grill hangs out over the water.  Any of you have experience with this or something similar on your Sun Cat?

Thanks,
Steve

No reason that wont work. No different than any other sailboat.

I have a BBQ mounted on Jubilee. i've attached a SS fish rod holder to the boom gallows support. The BBQ has an optional mount that fits in. Very simple....easy to set up and use. If I can find a pic...I'll post it.

Sometimes grills get knocked about when docking at a new location [not your home dock] and can just be in the way.

I use this...but it's a one or two person warm-up a prepared dish option only. I guess a burger could be cooked on it. Or an egg.

skip.
