sunday was a memorable first sailing day to say the least. my good friend rich called and wanted to come to carlyle lake for a day of cp16 sailing. the wind was forecast from 15 to 25 mph. as soon as we cleared hazlett cove it appeared that the forecast was totally off the beam.(dead calm) i couldnt have been more wrong. in short order it began to pipe up. i would say that we had 15 to 18 sustained with gusts approaching 25 or so. sailing it was. long story short, if all my days on the lake were that much fun i would be truly blessed. many thanks to rich for his good company. shame my wife couldnt make it.. i think the day was a good omen for the upcoming CLR. hope we have a good group of old friends and new and wind aplenty
Do you make your own reservations or as a group? If your own, what is the name of the location? I understand this is for the weekend of Aug. 3rd, 4th.
Capras...here is the link from last year. Pretty much the same as before..just different dates. Go..you'll have a blast!
