Title: Original Mainsheet set up com-pac 19
Post by: skully on February 17, 2012, 07:18:12 PM
hello all
this was an old post  http://cpyoa.geekworkshosting.com/forum/index.php?topic=377.0 (http://cpyoa.geekworkshosting.com/forum/index.php?topic=377.0)

Would like to use a harken 205 swivel base but with with a block with a becket .
tied off  main sheet first to the becket on the block up to the boom down to a block on starboard
and back again  to the boom then  though the base. Not using a cleat to start as in the first post .
any thoughts ?

Yes - the becketed block on swivel base is exactly the setup on my factory stock 19/3 (1988) except Ronstan, not Harken. Thought they were all like that. Maybe earlier generation 19s had the cleat.
