Great pics of your project! Keep them coming.

Yep just copy the 'Direct Link' that is with every Photobucket picture and paste** that between
[ IMG ] ** [ /IMG ]
Can't screw up, if you do just click on 'Modify Message' above the post's message box and try again.

Love the dark blue and white deck!!!
Lookin' good!
Cap:
The boat looks great! I think it took me 3 years and lots of coaching to learn to post photos. Your'e further ahead than you think!

Skip, I have not finished the bottom yet. It will be serveral coats of exposy barrier in gray followed by serveral coats of Pettit Hydrocoat in black with gold striping on the freeboard once Mother Nature makes up her mind, two inches of snow Sunday, high winds 62 temp. today.
Make sure it is ready for CLR 2012 and bring it there to show off your work.

Just when you think you have something figured out (posting photos) up jumps the Devil. I can get them there but it took 4 replies to do so. I just wanted to show my latest endeavor to finish the bottom. I have sanded the entire bottom except where the bunks were (tomorrow) and now comes 4 coats of barrier followed by 3 coats of Hydrpcoat.
Capras - all you need to do is copy the "img" code instead of the "http" code a paste it into your post the same way.
Mike
"...and now comes 4 coats of barrier followed by 3 coats of Hydrpcoat." Wow you must luvs to paint!
The job looks great and I like the way you shored up the hull in the garage. Makes the job a lot easier.
Yep can also copy and paste the 'Direct Code' from Photobucket between the [ IMG ] direct code pasted in here [ IMG ]

Curious what advantage there is to using the Direct Code and the adding the IMG on each end as opposed to simply posting the IMG code all by itself?
Mike
Capras..Tm and I went ahead and fixed the pictures. All we did was add the [IMG] before and after your weblink.
Just below the italics slant I icon above is a bottom which will insert the two [IMG] codes you need to paste the link in between.
As mentioned the "image code" on photo bucket can be just copied and pasted in a post..a whole lot easier too.
in regards to your project-----great work nothing like doing it "right"
Thanks for the encouraging words on my project. I will try to post some new pictures following your advice once the bottom is finished.
Mike asks, "Curious what advantage there is to using the Direct Code and the adding the IMG on each end as opposed to simply posting the IMG code all by itself?"
I don't know. This is how [Direct Code] I do post pics here from Photobucket...'but I'm computer dumb'. I don't think there is any correct way, just get the biggest picture you can in your message box.
When I post pics in the Ford Model 'A' site, I have to use the code that has a small '<a---a>' at the beginning and end of the Photobucket Code.
Just the way that site is setup.
Hint: What I did to determine the best or only code that worked was to copy each code and paste each code in the message box and see which ones made a picture and which ones made a box with a red x in them...trial and error. I took notes, using a real pencil and paper...but then again I'm only a product of public education prior to computers, well I did have Fortran with punch cards at I.S.U. in Normal, Illinois four decades ago.

Oh, how I remember the punch cards. You would take a program with maybe a couple of hundred cards to the computer center, there would be an 8 hour turn around time. You go back to the center to pick up your program at 2 AM and find out you made a mistake on line 5 and nothing ran after that. Of course it was due that morning.
Wiggs
Wiggs, dog gone. Exact-ta-Mendo! Were you in my class too?
Remember, we use to toss the punches down the girls shirts?
Illinois State University, 'Teacher's college'. There were 23,000 students, 17,000 were girls.
By the way, these boat pictures below show an OUTSTANDING effort in restoration. Thumbs up.
snickering. skipster.
Progress on Cp 16 - Bottom is finished with 3 coats of barrier and 3 coats of black ablative- then lettering and strip.[(http://i1121.photobucket.com/albums/l511/capras801/P1010377.jpg)[(http://i1121.photobucket.com/albums/l511/capras801/P1010376.jpg)[(http://i1121.photobucket.com/albums/l511/capras801/P1010375.jpg)[(http://i1121.photobucket.com/albums/l511/capras801/P1010374.jpg)[(http://i1121.photobucket.com/albums/l511/capras801/P1010373.jpg)[(http://i1121.photobucket.com/albums/l511/capras801/P1010370.jpg)
Beautiful................

I was worried about the boot strip but it went on easier than I had expected it to, just had to put it on in fractions of a inch slowly. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask. Things to do next are rigging and motor. I hope the weather holds as I can't wait to launch and see how she will perform.
What a great looking boat! Nice work!
Wow, what a beautiful hull job!!!
Skip, Wiggs, you two are old! Unfortunately, I remember the punch cards too. Taking my stack with the week's operations decisions on the "factory" I was running to the USM computer lab see if I had shut the place down.
