Yes, folks: This gets my vote as the narrowest channel on earth. Any challengers?

In truth, Irene, even though she did no damage to Long Beach Island, NJ, decided to be a prankster at heart and thought she'd relocate these two bouys about 100 feet from my 23 which is moored in Manahawkin Bay, NJ. What a sense of humor, eh?
