Anyone replace the trailer winch on a 23s Performance trailer? If so what did you use and did you like it? Mine is fairly rusty and I'm thinking it might be good to replace it before it becomes a problem at the wrong time.

I have the same problem -- Been thinking of a two speed with a very good brake not to mention a capacity rating. That reminds me I need a new strap -and more boat dollars- Matt
I ended up putting on a Shelby 3200 two speed winch with brake. It fits the mounting points just fine. It looks like a nice winch, much more robust then what came off. I ordered a strap version but ended up receiving the cable version.
