I am selling my 1981 Com-Pac 16. It is located in Ormond Beach, FLorida. I bought this Com-Pac 16 in mid July. The boat has no leaks what so ever! Also comes with a Magic Tilt trailer.
I bought this boat less than 2 months ago. I used it about 10 times. I can see that sailing takes a lot more time then I have to put into it. My loss is someones gain.
I decided to post it here on Cpyoa before I post it on Craigslist, Sailingtexas.com or even Ebay because you all have been helpful. I thought Id give you guys a first chance at it. Feel free to call me at
I am asking 3,000 dollars. I have the title and everything also in hand.
Here is a small list of what is included. Also you can see the pics at: http://imageshack.us/g/41/img4336v.jpg/
2 USCG approved life jackets
2 Seat cushions that also double as flotation devises
5 Fenders
4 5Lb anchors

Do you all think 3,000 dollars is a good selling price for this boat biased on the pictures?
The condition looks fantastic from the pictures.
Location is a huge factor in pricing. See what they sold for in FL on sailingtexas.com. Compare not just the boat, but options. They make a bid difference (motors are around $900 min, new sails are $600 min). If the supply of used CP16's is thin in your area, you can command a better price than, say here in the midwest where one find them used constantly (at various prices, years and condition).
Thank you for your input.
