Title: Jack Stands or Cradle
Post by: djweir on August 30, 2011, 11:24:40 AM
The Marina where I move my Com Pac 27 to (Michigan) from North Carolina said I need to provide Jack Stands or a cradle for winter storage.  Any idea where I can get either of these/

craigslist often has people selling their jack stands for fairly cheap. You may need to check several locations though

Brownell makes nice ones (www.boatstands.com). They are carried by many of the on-line marine distributors such as Defender, Jamestown etc. Defender's price is between $100 and $200 depending on the size. Here's a link to a typical model:

Certainly agree with Billy that there's no reason to buy new ones if you can find used ones on craigslist or ebay.
