Anybody have any thoughts on adding a bowsprit to an original (1980) C-23?

You call compac and ask them to ship you one.  They'll want you to pay for it.  It turns out that is the best option.  Custom would cost a lot more.  The compac bowsprits are reasonably priced.  They'll give you a quote on the phone.

From what I've read of other people's experience its not difficult to install and its quite an improvement.  You will need to drill and properly fill bolt holes.  You also need to replace the forestay but thats the point of doing this.
