Title: Mr Toad upgrade / cleaning and waxing

i keep the inside teak cleaned and oiled with "lemon pledge"

but to the outside - i am compounding and waxing

what wax do you recommend - and - any other advice on hull cleaning and polishing

The link to the old post is good info.  However, I have had great results with Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 paste.  My boat stays in the elements year round and when I pulled it for a road trip after the wax had been on for a year it was still glossy and was still beading water.  Easy to put on, I can  do the whole hull before wiping off with a terry cloth.
